Heartsease Scarf 2:

This scarf is woven with Article 810 Rayon Chenille

Using Heartsease for Warp and Weft.

Finished Dimensions: 7x72'' before fringe

Warp is 112 5 yard threads (an additional yard is allowed for the draw up with Chenille)

Weft is 1 ball 

Place warp on the loom remembering that Chenille is fragile. 

Hem the fron edge of the piece.

Weave 72'' remembering that when you change bobbins with Chenille you should allow for a 3'' overlap of your threads.

Hem the other end of the piece.

Remove it from the loom and finish the ends by tying 5 rows of square knots, braiding or twisting.

Care Instructions:  Chenille is VERY fragile.  Hand wash your scarf in a mild detergent such as Synthrapol (dharmatrading.com) and line dry.  DO NOT place Chenille in a dryer unless the fringes have been braided or twisted as the pile will come off.  Dry cleaning is also recommended for Chenille.
