Sk2P: Slip 1 stitch, k2tog,psso the slipped stitch over.
This is a left slanting double decrease
Row 1 and all WS rows : ( A) Knit
Note: Knit with previous row color in rows other than cast on
Row 2: (B) K2tog,k12,sk2p,k12,k2tog ( 27 sts)
Row 4: (A) k2tog,k10,sk2p,k10,k2tog,( 23 sts)
Row 6: (B) k2tog,k8,sk2op,k8,k2tog. ( 19 sts)
Row 8: (A) k2tog,k6,sk2p,k6,k2tog,. (15sts)
Row 10: (B) k2tog,k4,sk2p,k4,k2tog.( 11 sts)
Row 12: (A) k2tog,k2,sk2p,k2,k2tog, (7 sts)
Row 14: (B) k2tog,sk2p,k2tog. (3 sts)
Row 16 (B) sk2p, fasten off.
Make 4.
Note: If a solid back is desired knit 2 triangles and 1 back.
Back:
Cast on: 16 stitches
Knit till it is square, Bind off and weave in ends.
Finishing:
Sew triangles together, weave in ends.
Cut batting* to fit squares.
Layer Back, batting and top. Sew close with matching yarn.
Optional: Sew hanging ring to back.
* Batting should be cotton for it will not melt with high heat. You may
cut up a cotton towel to use.
