1 Pair Size 4 (US) single point needles
Tapestry needle
Scissors

Cast On:

16 Stitches

Knit border for 4 rows, then begin pattern.

Pattern:
x5+2
Row 1 (RS): B2,*p2,k3*end p2,B2.
Row 2: B2,*k2,p3*end k2,B2.
Row 3: B2,*p2,sl1-k2,psso*end p2,B2.
Row 4: B2,*k2,p1,yo,p1* end k2,B2.

Pattern is 4 rows.Knit till 1 border distance away from
desired length. Knit Border, bind off and weave in ends.

For Diamond Top:
Knit for desired length.
Row 1: B2, ssk, knit across, k2tog, B2.
Row 2: B2, purl across, B2.
Repeat 1-2 till 6 stitches.
Row 3 ( 6 stitches ): ssk, k2tog, k2tog
sl1-ktog-psso.

Tassel:

To make tassel Wind thread around a credit card narrow width. Wrap thread till desired thickness. Cut two threads about 6" and 10". Thread the 6" piece at the top of the tassel insert it under the thread an tie at the top, secure with a knot. With second piece, secure the tassel by wrapping the thread around, tie in knot. Trim tassel bottom.
