Supplies for Book Mark:


 Yarn:
 1 skein of Honeysuckle Article 810B 100% Rayon Chenille

 Needles:
 1 Pair size 7-8 (US) single or double point needles
 Crochet hook or tapestry needle
 Scissors
 3/8" ribbon 12"

 Abbreviations
 B2= Border 2 stitches (moss or garter stitch)
 YOx2= A double yarn over, wrap yarn around needle twice.
 K2tog+ Knit two stitches together
 SSK= Slip slip knit, slip two stitches purl wise, then knit them together.

 Cast on:
 8 stitches

 Pattern:
 x4 stitches
 Row 1(RS) : B2,*k2tog,(yo)x2,ssk*B2.
 Row 2: B2,*k1,(k1,p1) in double yo, k1,B2.

 Repeat these 2 rows for the pattern. Knit till border distance away from
 desired length, knit border, bind off and weave in the ends.

 Weave ribbon through the ladders. Tacking the ribbon on the wrong side at
 the bottom. At the top, make a loop the length of tails desired, weave in
 the end of the ribbon in the back of the ladders, tack down. Cut tails.

 Designer Notes:
 Chenille has no stretch, cast off and bind off loosely, If you tend to
 knit tight go up a needle size for best results.

 To cut dovetails, fold ribbon in half, cut fold to edge.

 Sample knitted in: Honeysuckle Article 810B in Color: 202 Emily Over dye
 using size 8 needles.
