"Thick 'n Thirsty" Classic Rib Bath Set

Supplies:
Yarn: 1 Cone Peaches & Crème Double Worsted Yarn
Needles: 1 Pair Single Point & 1 Pair Double point needles size 10-11
Crochet hook or tapestry needle

Abbreviations:
B= Border Stitches. Border can be moss or garter stitch.
PSSO= pass the yo stitch over the 2 knit stitches and drop off the needle.

Classic Rib Pattern:
x3+1
Row 1: B,purl,B.
Row 2: B, k1,*yo-k2-psso ,k1*B.
Row 3: B,p1,*k2,p1*,B.
Row 4: B,k1,yo-k2-psso,k1*,B.

Repeat rows 3&4 for pattern

Classic Rib Backscrubber:

Cast on: 19 Stitches
Knit Border for 1 inch, begin pattern.
Border=three stitches( B3) on either side of scrubber.
Follow pattern above to desired length-sample is 16" length. Knit border
bind off all but three stitches. Slip stitches to double point needle and
proceed to make handle by making an I Cord, knitting the three stitches,
do not turn work, slide work to other end of the needle, yarn in back,
knit three stitches ( note: first knit stitch at the end, tighten yarn up
before stitching for a good edge.) continue this till desired length of
handle- sample is 9". Bind off and attach end to the other side of the
scrubber. Cast on 3 stitches on double point needles, knit I cord for 9
inches, bind off and attach the ends to the other end of the scrubber.

Center Panel Cloth Pattern:

Cast on: 38 stitches for 8x8" cloth

Knit border for 1 inch begin pattern.
Row 1: B4,k5,p10,k5,B4.
Row 2: B4,p5,*k1,*yo-k2-psso k1*,p5,*B4.
Row 3: B4,k5,p1(k2,p2)x2,k2,p1,k5,B4.
Row 4: B4,p5,*k1,yo-k2-psso,k1*,p5,B4.

Repeat rows 3&4 for pattern till border distance from desired length. Knit
border, bind off and weave in ends.

Allover Pattern Cloths:

Cast On:
18 stitches- 5x5 cloth with B4.
27 stitches= 8x8" cloth with B4.
Knit border for 1" begin pattern. Knit till a border distance from desired
length. Knit border, bind off and weave in ends.

Bath Mat:

Cast On:
99 or 102 stitches-20"x 30" with B4.
Note: Use circular needles and 1 cone of yarn.
Knit border for 1" begin pattern. Knit till a border distance from desired
length. Knit border, bind off and weave in ends.

Designer Notes:
Samples were knitted in Peaches & Crème Double Worsted Color: Ecru, Size10 needles. Border= Garter Stitch.
This is a great house warming, wedding or off to college gift. The
original set has seen 4 years of washing and still looks new!
