Supplies for Cloths:
 Yarn:  1 skein Peaches & Crème knitting worsted solid
 1 skein Peaches & Crème knitting worsted in variegated
 Needles:   1 Pair Single Point & 1 Pair Double point needles size 7-8 (US)
 Crochet hook or tapestry needle
 Scissors

 Abbreviations
 B4= Border 4 stitches (moss or garter stitch)
 Ktbl= Knit through the back loop
 RN= Right hand needle
 Sl1pw- Slip 1 stitch as if to purl onto rh needle without knitting st
 SL1k1= Slip 1 stitch as if to knit, onto rn without knitting st.
 St= stitch or Sts= stitches
 Wyib= With yarn in back
 Wyif= With yarn in front

 Solid Washcloth

 Cast on:
 Small cloth: 25 stitches
 Medium cloth: 34 stitches
 Large cloth: 43 stitches

 B: Border in moss or garter stitch


 Knit 1 inch of Border, then begin pattern.

 Pattern:

 Row 1: B4,p2,*wyib-sl1kw,p2*, B4.
 Row 2: B4, k2,*wyif-sl1pw,k2*,B4.
 Row 3: B4,k2,*ktbl,k2*, B4.
 Row 4: B4, purl all stitches, B4.


 These 4 rows create pattern. Knit to desired length, knit border. Bind off and weave in ends.

 Stripe Washcloth

 Knit 1 inch of Border with color A , then begin pattern.

 Pattern:

 Color A:
 Row 1: B4,p2,*wyib-sl1kw,p2*, B4.
 Row 2: B4, k2,*wyif-sl1pw,k2*,B4.
 Row 3: B4,k2,*ktbl,k2*, B4.
 Row 4: B4, purl all stitches, B4.
 Repeat Rows 1-4 for Rows 5-8

 Color B:
 Repeat Rows 1-8

 Rows 1-16 are the pattern sequence. Knit to desired length, knit border with color A. Bind off and weave in ends.

 Designer Notes:

 Great for kitchen and bath. Team with black or tan towels for a great ensemble. This stitch pattern creates a thick cloth, great for wicking moisture.
