Materials: Peaches & Crème, 100% cotton, 4-ply; 3(4,4)

2 1/2 oz. balls. Color #10 yellow.

Stitches: Knit 2, purl 2.

 

Needles: One pair #8 strait knitting needles, D3.25 crochet hook.

 

Gauge: 14 sts and 22 rows=4"

Finished size: S(M,L)

Chest: 35 1/2 (38,40)"

Length: 17 (18,20) "

Directions:

At the beginning, leave a long tail of yarn which will

be used for crocheting the Back and the Front pieces together.

Cast on 62(66,70) sts. Knit 2, purl 2. Work to 11 (12,13)".

Shape armholes by binding off 4 sts at the beginning of the

next 2 rows. Bind off 2 sts at the beginning of the next

2 rows. 54(58,62) sts remaining on the needle. Work in

pattern 5(6,7)" for armholes. Bind off 11 (13,15) sts,

knit across. At the beginning of the next row, bind off

again 11 (13,15) sts for the other shoulder. Work 2" on

the remaining 32 sts for the mock-neck. Bind off all sts

loosely. Leave yarn tail for neck and shoulder seaming.

Knit 2 identical pieces.

Finishing: Assemble the Front and Back pieces, using the

yarn tails.
