DIRECTIONS

Starting at the bottom, ch 21 LOOSELY this is side 1

Row 1: hdc in 3rd ch from hook and in each ch across

Row 2: ch 2, turn, hdc in each hdc across

Row 3-13: repeat row 2 DO NOT finish off

EDGE:

Round 1: ch 2, turn, hdc in each hdc across, 3 hdc at comer, work 18

evenly spaced hdc down the rows, 3 hdc at comer, hdc in each ch of the beginning ch, 3 hdc at comer, work 18 evenly spaced hdc up the rows (you have 3 hdc at each comer and 18 hdc across each of the 4 sides); sl st to top of 1 st hdc

Round 2: ch 1, sc in back loops only in each sc around, working in 3 sc at

each comer. Finish off.

Side 2: repeat the directions for side 1 -- DO NOT finish off, hold the

sides together, front sides out, and sl st through each sc around. Finish off.

    ** Optional hanging loop, after the last sl, st, ch 17, sl st in each ch, join to pot holder with a sl st and finish off.**
