Lace Ladder Hanging Towel & Cloth Set

Supplies:
1 Skein Peaches & Crème Knitting Worsted
 Choose a solid and a variegated to coordinate
 1 Pair size 7 (US) single point needles
 Tapestry Needle
 Scissors
 Hanging Towel Ring


 Cast On:
 Small Cloth: 20 stitches 5"x5"
 Medium Cloth: 30 stitches
 Large Cloth: 40 stitches 9"x 9"
 Hanging Dish Towel: 50 stitches 10" wide x 12" length

 B: Border stitches which can be garter stitch or moss stitch

 Pattern:
 x10+2
 Row 1: B4, purl across, B4.
 Row 2 (RS) : B4, k2*yo,k2tog,k4,ssk,yo,k2*,B4.

 Repeat these two rows for pattern.

 Cloths:
 Cast on for the size desired. Knit border for 1"
 Knit pattern till border distance from desired length. Knit border
 starting on a wrong side row. Knit border for 1" bind off and weave in ends.

 Hanging Dish Towel:
 Cast on and knit pattern for 9" ending on a wrong side.
 Row 1: B4, k2tog across, B4.
 Row 2: B4, purl across, B4.
 Repeat Rows 1-2 till 20 stitches remain. Knit for 2"- creating a flap to
 put through the ring.. Bind off and weave in ends. Place ring at the top,
 sewing the flap down.

 Designer Notes:
 
Choose a variegated yarn with a few coordinating solid colors to make a
 great ensemble for kitchen, house gifts and wedding showers. This pattern
 is based on a Shetland lace pattern which is fun to knit for beginners to
 more advanced knitters.
